The Balvenie Whisky

THE BRIEF

The Balvenie Whisky are an understated brand, steeped in history, tradition and craft and they tasked us with modernising their website alongside other online and printed communications. They wanted to freshen up and move with the times without completely sacrificing their traditional appearance.

OUR RESPONSE

We initially made some simple changes to their colour palette, swapping out their cream backgrounds with starker white and allowed more space around elements on a page. We also introduced Helvetica into their typographic hierarchy to sit alongside the existing Georgia. The combination of old and new helped achieve the desired balance.
