Brand ID and app UI for wine delivery app
The brief:
The owners of Covent Garden based restaurant/bar ‘The 10 cases’ briefed us to create a brand identity and UI for their new mobile app 'Drop'. The app allows customers to have carefully selected wine from around the world delivered to any address within Central London. The client was keen for the identity of this brand to come across as modern and friendly without the fluff and pompousness commonly associated with wine. They also wanted to depict the direct relationship they have with the wine producers, without showing typical wine imagery - glasses, corks etc. We were required to deliver a mini style guide to document the brand look and feel plus design a selection of the app screens.

What was achieved?
The end result was a modern, approachable brand identity through the use of rounded but slick font ‘Comfortaa’ and a fresh but earthy and authentic colour palette. The brand mark uses a graphic illustration of grapes, one of which has dropped from the bunch and into the word 'drop'. This represents the direct link between the wine producers and drop as well as the idea of transportation of wine. The photography is natural and although not always showing people, there is always a human presence.
